Acknowledgement of Country

The Hyde Park Festival proudly acknowledges the Whadjuk Noongar people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which Hyde Park Festival is held. We pay our deepest respects to their Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

As a community festival, we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive event that celebrates the diverse cultures, histories and people who make Western Australia such a vibrant place to live. We are grateful for the opportunity to gather on Whadjuk Noongar Country and encourage all visitors to join us in respecting and caring for this special place.
