Get Ready for Hyde Park Festival

Updated: Feb 22

Hyde Park Festival is fast approaching so it’s time to get your game plan sorted! There is so much to see and do over the two days, the whole family will find something to enjoy!

Start the day by making your way to the park by bike or on foot. The City of Vincent are providing bike racks at the park entries and there are buses running within walking distance of the park for more information on this check out our socials.

Head over to the Live Lighter Mainstage at 10am to participate in a yoga class, then stay for the opening ceremony and Welcome to Country. Following the opening ceremony, you will be treated to an amazing line up of entertainment, from dancing, live music and even a Chinese dragon. And of course, Talent in the Park at 5pm on Sunday and Dogs of Hyde Park at 1pm on Monday!

The Live Lighter Mainstage isn’t the only place you will find music. With designated busking areas around the park, you will be able to explore the stalls with a fantastic soundtrack all weekend! With over 200 market stalls and food vendors you will be spoiled for choice! With the help of our presenting partner, Live Lighter, all food vendors are making sure you have healthy food and drink options available, to keep you energised throughout the weekend.

Running on both days are an array of amazing amusements, from carnival games and rides to farm animals and pony rides. And let’s not forget about the showbags full of goodies! And if this wasn’t enough to convince you that Hyde Park Festival is where you want to be this Labour Day long weekend, then maybe the chance to spot some turtles in the Hyde Park lakes will be!

So come down and see what it’s all about on Sunday March 5th and Monday March 6th. Bring the whole family, including dogs (on lead) to explore what we have to offer. Gates open at 10am both days!
